How to create an Invoice using the Pop Invoice Database

The template has 3 databases, you can manage all 3 database from within the Invoices database.

Each database has some sample entries for illustration, which you can use to create and send a test PDF invoice.

Step-by-step guide

Step 1: Create a new invoice in Notion

Once you’ve created the invoice remember to set the status to “Ready” so Pop Invoice knows to create the PDF

  1. On the homepage, click on the new invoice button, this adds a record to the invoices database.

  2. In the client property select a client from the drop down list

    …or add a new client record by typing a new client reference and clicking on the prompt to create a new record in Client database.

  3. Optional - add a tax percentage in the “Tax %” property, leave blank if you don’t need to add tax to the total.
